How to choose an incubator or chamber

1. Define the minimum and maximum operating temperature and whether cooling is required.
2. Match chamber capacity and shelf arrangement to the number and size of samples used each day.
3. Compare controller accuracy, temperature uniformity, air circulation and recovery after door opening.
4. For specialised work, confirm humidity control, shaking movement, CO2 control or hot-and-cold cycling requirements.
5. Check electrical supply, installation clearance, data recording needs and optional timer or stabilizer requirements.
